Cafe La Cle

This is a cafe design and construction project. The cafe is located at the Institute Français Ankara, Turkey. Cafe la Cle is owned by Cermodern which is a modern museum in Ankara. Concept of the cafe is influenced by the French modern art. Also, the main concern was to provide a comfortable space for users of the French Institute being students, parents, and staff. The concept renders and pictures from the cafe after the construction can be found on the left. The project was completed in summer 2019.

Curatorial and Exhibition Design

 

These two exhibitions were located at Contemporary Art Center Ankara. The first one is “Peruvian Amazons” Photography Exhibition conducted by the Peruvian Embassy. The second one is “Mexico UNESCO World Heritage” Photography Exhibition conducted by Mexican Embassy. Photographs were selected and printed. Information tags of the photographs were designed. In the “Mexico UNESCO World Heritage” exhibition, QR codes were used to give further information about the exhibits. The codes were connected to UNESCO World Heritage websites about specific eras.

These are the Hilmi Güner Office Drawings consisting of floor plans, sections, wet volume detail drawings, kitchen detail drawings, cubicle details and cafe details.

Brazilian Ambassador Residence

 

This residence will reflect the social and natural milieu of Brazil by using organic forms. Also, green spaces will be integrated with public 

spaces in order to emphasize the Brazil’s relationship with its nature. Exhibition walls are placed over the space which will lead guests to their destinations. Color coding is used as a determiner. Spaces with its areas; Welcoming Area 160m2, Library & Study Room 66m2, 

Reception Area140m2, Dining Room 80m2, 

Kitchen & Storage 90m2, Ambassador’s Suit100mGuest’s Suits 70m2, Family Common Room 90m2

Optic Shop Design

 

This is an Optic Shop which is located at a shopping mall in Ankara. Circular elements are used in order to maximize the dynamizm within the optic shop. There are three circular shaped laquer display units for the glasses. These circular shapes are continued as lighting elements on the ceiling. Also, as mirrors located at the main show case. Moreover, at the worker’s seating units. As main materials wood and laquer are used.

Furniture Design

 

The aim is to produce a multi-functional furniture which will be usable at more than one area in the house. Therefore, there are 3 different sizes of rectangular modules which can be integrated to each other by any variations. Therefore; a freedom is given to the user. There are 3 modules of 3 different colors; white cream and vizon at one package. Customer can buy many packages as they prefer. Each module c an be integrated to each other by the gaps. Also, these rectangular boxes are made from plywood. Which makes them very easy and cheap to produce.
